Latest Exploration Licences News

Industrial Minerals has completed its shift from an industrial-minerals explorer towards Western Australia gold, adding a 205 square kilometre Laverton portfolio after year end. The company enters the next phase with historical high-grade intercepts, a planned maiden drilling campaign and $2.08 million in cash at 30 June.

Kaili Resources has reported a peak one-metre assay of 1,125.51 ppm total rare earth oxides from shallow aircore drilling at its Coodalya tenement in South Australia. The result adds to an emerging zone of elevated values, but the early-stage program has not yet established continuity, scale or economic significance.

Falcon Metals has started its first-ever drilling at the Olsen Well gold target in Western Australia, expanding the campaign to approximately 6,000 metres after a recent capital raising. The program will test the central portion of a 5.8-kilometre gold-in-soil anomaly supported by rock-chip results of up to 6.42 grams per tonne gold.

Tivan has won approval to add 50 square kilometres to its Baucau copper-gold project in Timor-Leste, securing ground over a large magnetic anomaly. The expansion comes as the company acknowledges an executive chairman’s personal X post previewed an assay announcement before ASX release and was not authorised under its disclosure policy.

Everest Metals has started a 6,000-metre drilling campaign at Revere while commissioning a Scoping Study targeted for March quarter 2027. A separate $150,000 cash and share transaction would lift EMC’s stated joint venture interest to 56% and halve a royalty burden over selected tenements.

Brightstar Resources will pay A$350,000 for five Panther Metals exploration licences beside its Laverton processing plant, securing ground needed for haul roads, water infrastructure and future tailings capacity. A separate, non-binding deal could also bring Panther’s Burtville East ore through the plant under a 50:50 net proceeds arrangement.

New Hope delivered more coal, expanded its resource base and declared a 30-cent final dividend, but lower realised prices and higher costs cut FY26 profit by 63.4%. The results leave investors weighing near-term earnings pressure against a larger production pipeline.

Panther Metals has secured $350,000 in cash from the sale of its Mikado Gold Project to Brightstar Resources, while opening a potential processing route for Burtville East. The proposed 50:50 arrangement remains non-binding and depends on further evaluation and definitive agreements.

Broken Hill Gold has started a 48 line-kilometre induced polarisation survey and 670 line-kilometre magnetic program at White Dam, targeting sulphide mineralisation beneath existing oxide prospects. A second diamond rig is also mobilising, but the next value test remains firmly in the ground: geophysical anomalies must translate into drilling results and an upgraded resource.

Hawk Resources has exercised its option to acquire an 80% interest in Western Australia’s Olympus scandium project after securing the approvals needed to begin exploration. The immediate test is whether laboratory assays can validate historical pXRF anomalies before drilling proceeds.

Nelson Resources is selling its Woodline and Fortnum exploration projects for up to $1.09 million, including $690,000 in stated cash consideration and contingent Woodline payments. The divestments are intended to sharpen the company’s focus on Gold Point in Nevada and other priority assets.

Cosmo Metals has secured the Carters Road exploration licence in New South Wales after reconnaissance work returned 4.69% copper and 5.78g/t silver from a single selective rock-chip sample. The result offers an early exploration lead, but does not establish continuity, scale or economic significance.
