Cyprium Metals says its long-delayed Nifty Copper Complex is entering the final commissioning phase, with first copper cathode production expected in the December quarter of 2026. The restart is backed by A$121 million in equity raisings, a refinanced US$27.3 million loan facility and A$68.5 million in cash at year-end.

Challenger Gold has locked in US$24 million through five-year unsecured convertible debentures to advance its Hualilán project, with a further US$6.3 million potentially available. The financing carries an 11% coupon and only part of the proceeds is unconditional, leaving shareholder approval and a much larger funding requirement ahead.

Lotus Resources delivered first uranium production from Kayelekera in more than a decade, but its first operating year brought a $100.1 million loss, heavy cash burn and an auditor-highlighted material uncertainty over its ability to continue as a going concern. Bannerman Energy has completed CNOL’s US$320.4 million strategic investment in the Etango uranium project, giving the joint venture approximately US$303 million in cash and a debt-free construction pathway. The project now moves towards a Final Investment Decision and full-scale construction targeted for Q4 2026.

Maritana Minerals has extended gold mineralisation beneath the planned Pit 4 floor at Boorara, with drilling still open at depth. The results could feed a larger resource and revised pit design, although assays, estimation and optimisation work remain ahead of a targeted mid-2027 restart.
