Neometals has cleared a key regulatory hurdle for an A$2 million standby loan from a company controlled by former chairman David Reed. The facility provides near-term funding, but carries 10% interest, security over Barrambie-related assets and potential conversion into equity.

Green Technology Metals has completed the environmental assessment for its Seymour Lithium Project in Ontario, removing a major step from the mine’s permitting pathway. The milestone does not yet amount to final development approval, with a mine closure plan and several permits still required.

Leeuwin Metals will acquire three Western Australian exploration tenements covering about 105km², including ground adjoining the Marvel Loch gold mine. The all-scrip deal requires no cash payment, but two of the licences remain applications and the exploration case is still at an early stage.
