RareX has reported stronger Cummins Range recoveries, a preliminary 74-metre copper sulphide zone at Khaleesi and a submitted proposal for Kenya’s Mrima Hill project. The gains come with two important qualifications: Khaleesi assays remain outstanding and the company reported only 2.13 quarters of estimated funding at September-end.

Hastings Technology Metals has completed its 49% Thai processing plant acquisition and is targeting first mixed rare earth chloride production in the June 2027 quarter. But the company ended September with A$1.85 million in cash, leaving funding the immediate test for both its downstream strategy and Yangibana development.

Osmond Resources has advanced its Spanish critical minerals project through a maiden resource, a striking but preliminary scoping study and a maximum government grant. The results add a second exploration stream to its expanding Cameroon rutile province, although the company’s A$4.55 million cash balance provides an estimated 2.1 quarters of funding at the latest burn rate.

Chilwa Minerals has expanded its Chilwa project’s heavy mineral sands resource by 56% and added niobium and rare earths to the story. But the annual report also records a larger loss, limited year-end cash and an auditor warning over going concern, despite a subsequent US$3.5 million Nasdaq raising.

Hastings Technology Metals has completed its 49% acquisition of a Thai hydrometallurgical plant, with upgrades targeting 12,000 tonnes per annum of Mixed Rare Earth Chloride output. The company now faces the harder test: commissioning the facility, securing customers and converting a contracted feedstock position into sales.
