Liberty Metals’ maiden rock chip program at Oko North has returned four samples above 1 g/t gold, including a peak assay of 2.322 g/t. The reconnaissance results support the company’s interpretation that historical alluvial gold may be sourced from hard rock within its Guyana tenure, but drilling is still required to test continuity and scale.

Bellevue Gold will spend A$25-30 million on FY27 exploration after its Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve declined year on year, while a slower Barminco ramp-up is expected to cut September-quarter production by 3,000-4,000 ounces. High-grade Deacon North drilling and deeper targets offer a possible longer-term counterweight.
