Riversgold has lodged the Mine Development and Closure Proposal for its Northern Zone open-pit project near Kalgoorlie, moving the planned mine into its final major approval phase. The project remains conditional on regulatory sign-offs, but MEGA Resources is set to fund development under an extended cooperation agreement.

Flagship Minerals has outlined a conceptual 22 million to 40 million tonne tungsten Exploration Target at its Khao Soon project in southern Thailand. The company is now weighing a sale, spin-out or joint venture for the non-core asset, but the target remains well short of a Mineral Resource.
