Caspin Resources has reported a 45% increase in contained tin at its Kelpie Deposit, with a 6.5Mt resource now sitting within an optimised open-pit shell. The explorer is moving towards development-style work while awaiting assays from deeper drilling and testing a growing list of regional targets.

Western Mines Group has increased the Mulga Tank resource to 2.647 billion tonnes at 0.27% nickel, containing 7.2 million tonnes of nickel. The major exploration milestone now faces its more consequential test: whether a large, low-grade and unconstrained resource can support an economic mine.
