Latest Pre Feasibility Study News

Vital Metals reported a A$16.63 million FY2026 loss after impairing its North T mine asset by A$12.73 million, while its auditor highlighted material uncertainty over the company’s ability to continue as a going concern. The balance sheet was strengthened by A$12.47 million in placements, but Tardiff’s encouraging drilling results must now translate into a larger resource and a credible pre-feasibility study.

Brightstar Resources has nearly doubled the Two Mile Hill-Shillington Mineral Resource to 1.45 million ounces, with the Indicated component rising 177% to 526,000 ounces. The result lifts the broader Sandstone Gold Project to 3.6Moz, while assays from deeper drilling could provide another resource catalyst later in 2026.

Magnetite Mines is seeking up to A$1.5 million through a discounted share purchase plan and potential top-up placement to advance the Razorback green iron project. The raise offers free options, but also highlights the company’s continuing reliance on external funding and future strategic partners.

St Barbara is positioning itself as a debt-free Nova Scotia gold developer after a proposed A$453 million Simberi exit, with a potential special dividend and share buy-back still on the table. Its updated 15-Mile study points to a larger reserve, longer mine life and stronger project economics, but those figures remain study-based and conditional on execution.

Victory Metals has set out a 20-year development case for North Stanmore, backed by a 47 million tonne Probable Ore Reserve and a pre-tax NPV8 of A$1.76 billion. The project remains pre-feasibility stage, while the company ended FY2026 with A$11.18 million in cash and no operating revenue.

Sovereign Metals has expanded Kasiya into a potential rutile, graphite and heavy rare earths project, with a rare earths study adding an estimated US$722 million of pre-tax NPV8. The opportunity comes with a sharper execution challenge: Rio Tinto will not become operator, while Sovereign still needs a mining licence, binding offtakes and substantial funding.

Astral Resources has strengthened its balance sheet and expanded its Mandilla gold resource as it moves from explorer toward developer. The next test is converting deep drilling, permitting progress and a proposed early-production joint venture into funded construction decisions.

Fin Resources’ first drilling campaign at Cabin Lake delivered gold in all eight holes, including two high-grade shallow intersections at Arrow. But the ASX-listed explorer also reported a sharply wider loss, a major impairment and an auditor-highlighted material uncertainty over its ability to continue without further capital.

American West Metals expanded its Storm copper resource and reported a major indium-zinc-gold intersection at West Desert during FY2026. But the ASX-listed explorer remains reliant on further funding, with the auditor flagging material uncertainty over its ability to continue as a going concern.

Unico Silver has secured approximately A$60 million from institutional and sophisticated investors, taking pro forma cash to about A$110 million. The capital will fund 20,000 metres of drilling, a maiden PFS due in January 2027 and continued advancement of a DFS through 2027.

Brightstar Resources says laboratory testwork across deposits representing about 80% of its Sandstone resource supports a conventional gravity and carbon-in-leach processing route, with average recoveries around 94%. The results provide the processing basis for the project’s pre-feasibility study, although Bull Oak and further variability testing remain outstanding.

Nordic Resources has recorded gold recoveries of up to 90% and copper recoveries of up to 91% at its Kopsa gold-copper project in Finland using a conventional processing route. The results will feed into an updated resource estimate expected in October, while a new 12,000-metre drilling program is already under way.
