Metals Australia has reported a 50 Mt graphite resource, a maiden 21.51 Mt probable ore reserve and strong study-stage economics for its Quebec project. The opportunity is substantial, but the company ended the year with just AUD 3.73 million in cash and no mining revenue.

Historical work has identified widespread near-surface columbo-tantalite mineralisation at Australasian Metals’ Atex project in Côte d’Ivoire, adding a potential tantalum stream to its lithium strategy. The results are encouraging, but the underlying estimate is non-JORC, unverified and based on incomplete historical records.

Bass Oil’s Bunian 6 well has confirmed oil in a previously unproduced zone, with the company targeting a potential threefold increase in Tangai-Sukananti field production. August sales also improved as Cooper Basin exports resumed, while Vanessa and Kiwi advanced toward future gas development.

The results remove a key process uncertainty, but the project still depends on engineering completion, financing and a broader Definitive Feasibility Study.

Ramelius Resources has lifted its FY30 production outlook to as much as 610,000 ounces while committing up to A$570 million of growth capital in FY27. The plan puts a larger Mt Magnet processing hub at the centre of the company’s expansion, but also raises the execution and cost stakes.

Sunstone Metals has expanded its Bramaderos gold-equivalent resource to 3.6Moz and reported new Porotillo and Copete discoveries, but its FY2026 accounts carry a material uncertainty over going concern. A post-year-end A$9.94 million placement has improved liquidity, although further equity funding remains central to the exploration plan.

Bannerman Energy has opened a non-underwritten share purchase plan targeting approximately A$10 million to support construction and working capital at its Etango uranium project in Namibia. The offer gives eligible Australian and New Zealand shareholders access to the same A$4.00 issue price as the company’s A$124 million institutional placement.

FireFly Metals has turned a year of aggressive drilling into a substantially larger, higher-confidence Green Bay resource, backed by an August PEA and fresh funding. The next test is execution: feasibility, permits, construction decisions and the capital required to build a mine.
