Silver Mines has built a substantially larger economic case for Bowdens, but the project still needs NSW approval before its 93.5 million ounce reserve can become a mine. The company is now funding the next phase with a A$70 million placement while absorbing dilution and a major royalty buy-back.

White Cliff Minerals has expanded its Rae Copper-Silver Project into a multi-kilometre copper system, with a peak interval of 21.1% copper and recoveries reaching 95.4%. The exploration progress came alongside an A$18.8 million FY26 loss, A$14.5 million operating cash outflow and an auditor-highlighted material uncertainty over going concern.

Chalice Mining is moving Gonneville from study to execution, with a feasibility study underway and a targeted investment decision in the first half of 2028. The project’s sizeable economics sit alongside a A$26.2 million annual loss and a funding task that remains unresolved.

PTR Minerals has posted a 463 million tonne maiden resource for its Rosewood titanium project, backed by strong early processing results and fresh funding. The next test is whether the large geological inventory can become an economically viable mine.

Boab Metals has signed a binding Heads of Agreement with RE:GROUP for mining services at its Sorby Hills silver-lead project, clearing a key operational milestone ahead of planned production in the second half of 2027. Site establishment is scheduled for January, with mining services targeted to begin by March.

St Barbara is positioning itself as a debt-free Nova Scotia gold developer after a proposed A$453 million Simberi exit, with a potential special dividend and share buy-back still on the table. Its updated 15-Mile study points to a larger reserve, longer mine life and stronger project economics, but those figures remain study-based and conditional on execution.
