Pivotal Metals has used its FY2026 annual report to position Horden Lake as a larger, better-understood Quebec copper project, with a maiden scoping study targeted for September. The company also expanded Belleterre drilling and added the Bambino project, but remains loss-making and dependent on further funding.

Caravel Minerals has delayed the Caravel Copper Project’s Definitive Feasibility Study from September to the fourth quarter of 2026. The extra time will fund further metallurgical testing, groundwater modelling, environmental updates and a detailed review of the process plant capital estimate.

Marquee Resources has received a $549,122 R&D tax refund, adding non-dilutive cash ahead of planned drilling at its Yindi Lithium and Gold Project in Western Australia. The filing improves near-term financial flexibility but does not disclose the company’s post-refund cash balance or drilling budget.

ABx Group has locked in approximately $4.1 million through a placement and fully underwritten share purchase plan, with strategic partner Good Importing International committing $1 million. The funding will support the Deep Leads rare earths project and construction and commissioning of the ALCORE pilot plant, but comes with substantial new equity and options.

Turaco Gold has confirmed depth and strike extensions at the Begnopan deposit in Côte d’Ivoire, including several high-grade gold intersections from the first 69 holes of a 113-hole program. The results could support a resource classification upgrade and eventual inclusion of Begnopan in Afema’s ore reserve, but no revised resource or reserve has yet been published.

Volt Resources has secured US$5.4 million in fully government-funded support for its US graphite refinery and customer application centre. The award is positive for project funding, but the company’s ASX securities remain suspended as it works with the exchange to satisfy reinstatement requirements.

Astral Resources has reported broad and high-grade gold intersections from two deep holes at Theia, including 22 metres at 2.73g/t and 2 metres at 12.8g/t. The results extend the evidence for mineralisation below the current resource shell, but any resource increase remains dependent on the six remaining holes and further interpretation.
