Alvo Minerals has secured A$1 million from strategic and existing investors while reporting broad, near-surface dysprosium and terbium mineralisation at its Bluebush project in Brazil. The results strengthen the exploration story, but metallurgy, permeability and a maiden resource remain ahead.

Axel REE is moving its Caladão rare earths project into the next technical test: exploratory in-situ recovery work at the Woolrich deposit. The company says bench-scale testing has recovered up to 560ppm soluble TREO, but field performance, groundwater behaviour and project economics remain unproven.

Tyranna Resources has identified high-grade surface anomalies at its Coola project in Angola, including soil assays of up to 13.18% TREO and 3.9% Nb₂O₅. The results refine drill targets ahead of a maiden program planned for the second quarter of 2027, subject to wet-season conditions.

NewPeak Metals has confirmed two more than 650-metre polymetallic intercepts at Las Opeñas in Argentina, with gold grades increasing towards an untested southwestern target. Phase 2 drilling is due to begin in mid-October, although the explorer reported only 0.81 quarters of funding at its current expenditure rate.

Power Minerals has extended high-grade rare earth oxide mineralisation 57 metres northwest at Brazil’s Morro do Ferro project, with drilling returning 119 metres at 4.94% TREO from surface. The result strengthens the exploration picture, but the deposit’s geometry, metallurgy and economic potential remain to be established.

Barkly Rare Earths has reported rare earth mineralisation in 43 of 44 holes at its Northern Territory project, with high-grade intervals in 30 holes. The results strengthen the case for a larger resource, but more than 300 holes and further assays are still ahead before that potential can be tested.

OD6 Metals has secured A$6.92 million from institutional and sophisticated investors to advance drilling, bulk sampling and resource definition at its Quinn Fluorspar Project in Nevada. The funding also sets up a proposed rebrand to Adaven, but brings dilution and a substantial package of shareholder approvals.

Osmond Resources has secured the maximum €250,000 provisional grant in the first round of Spain’s national mineral exploration program, while preparing to start a 13-hole campaign at its Orión project. The company has also issued 85 million shares to retain its 80% interest in the project-owning vehicle.

Brazilian Critical Minerals has signed binding agreements to acquire 90% of a Brazilian magnesium sulphate producer, aiming to secure a key input for its Ema rare earth project. The strategy offers greater supply-chain control, but the plant requires restructuring and carries estimated legacy liabilities of R$15.3 million.

Osmond Resources’ preliminary study has put a US$2.31 billion post-tax NPV on its Spanish rare earths and mineral sands project, but the headline economics rest on a scoping-level model and a US$300 million funding requirement. The next test is whether drilling, metallurgy, permitting and financing can turn the attractive concept into a financeable mine.

Chilwa Minerals has lodged a prospectus supporting a fully underwritten US$3.5 million Nasdaq IPO, with most of the proceeds earmarked for exploration at its Chilwa Critical Minerals Project. The raising would strengthen its cash position, but the prospectus also flags material going-concern uncertainty and further funding needs.

APC Minerals has replaced its FY2026 annual report after finding a version-control error in the independent auditor’s report. The corrected filing leaves a more consequential warning intact: the explorer needs near-term equity funding to remain a going concern.
