The economics are substantial, but the plan remains a preliminary assessment built partly on Inferred Resources and requires significant capital and permitting work.

Toubani Resources has reported high-grade RC drilling at Foroko, a satellite deposit 3km from the Kobada processing plant in Mali. The results are sufficient for Foroko to be considered in an October Mineral Resource Estimate update, but no additional ounces have yet been declared.

True North Copper has lifted the contained copper inventory across its Cloncurry Copper Project by approximately 18% through a larger Mongoose-Taipan resource. The update gives the late-2026 pre-feasibility study a bigger technical base, but it remains a mineral resource rather than an economic reserve.

Turaco Gold has confirmed depth and strike extensions at the Begnopan deposit in Côte d’Ivoire, including several high-grade gold intersections from the first 69 holes of a 113-hole program. The results could support a resource classification upgrade and eventual inclusion of Begnopan in Afema’s ore reserve, but no revised resource or reserve has yet been published.

Pantoro Gold has extended the interpreted mineralised strike at its Racetrack discovery to about 900 metres, with drilling returning several high-grade intersections. The company will begin a 450-metre exploration decline from the OK Underground Mine in the December 2026 quarter, although Racetrack remains outside the current Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve.
