Latest Surface Geochemistry News

Bayan Mining has pinpointed two high-priority exploration targets at its 100% owned Bayan Springs North Project in Nevada, leveraging newly interpreted USGS airborne magnetic and radiometric data. Both targets display promising geophysical and geochemical signatures reminiscent of the adjacent Maverick Springs mineral system.

Great Southern Mining (ASX:GSN) is set to restart diamond drilling at its Edinburgh Park joint venture in northern Queensland, focusing on the Mt Dillon target where a significant induced polarization anomaly suggests a large intrusive-related gold system.

Corazon Mining has pinpointed two fresh drill-ready gold targets at its Feather Cap project in Western Australia, leveraging historical data to reveal a large untested anomaly and promising shallow intercepts near established deposits.

Voltaic Strategic Resources is set to acquire a key exploration licence adjoining its Ti Tree Project in Western Australia, expanding its footprint in the emerging Gascoyne lithium province near Delta Lithium’s resources. This low-cost deal enhances Voltaic’s strategic optionality for lithium and tantalum exploration.

Patronus Resources has consolidated 100% ownership of the Guppy-Benalla area for $250,000 cash, removing joint venture constraints and positioning itself to advance exploration near its 475koz Cardinia East gold resource. Follow-up drilling is planned after heritage surveys.

Bayan Mining and Minerals has locked in a reverse circulation drill rig with Alaska Midnight Sun Drilling for its first-ever drilling at the Desert Star rare earth project in California, targeting up to 1,000 metres from June 2026. The fully permitted program aims to test high-grade surface mineralisation and geophysical targets near the Mountain Pass mine.

Critical Resources (ASX:CRR) has launched a systematic surface exploration program at the underexplored Corona Pegmatite Field, aiming to expand its Mavis Lake lithium resource in Ontario, Canada. The initiative complements the Gullwing exploration and supports CRR’s vision of developing a multi-deposit lithium district.

Belararox Limited continues diamond drilling at its Toro Central Prospect within the TMT Project in Argentina, focusing on high-grade silver-zinc-copper-gold mineralisation. Assay results from recent drill holes are pending, while exploration highlights copper porphyry potential at Tambo South and initial assessment of the El Faro tenement.

Zenith Minerals (ASX: ZNC) has commenced an eight-hole reverse circulation drilling program at its Consolidated Dulcie Gold Project, aiming to grow and enhance its recently defined 675,000 ounce inferred gold resource. The campaign targets near-resource zones and strategic gaps along a 6 km mineralised corridor, while regional exploration efforts continue.

Adavale Resources (ASX:ADD) has reported the identification of several high-quality near-mine gold targets at its London-Victoria Gold Mine within the Parkes Gold-Copper Project, NSW, supported by soil geochemistry and drone magnetics. The company plans to commence drilling shortly to test these targets, including a high-priority anomaly at Victoria South with peak soil gold values up to 600ppb Au.

Clara Resources pivots exclusively to its Mareeba Gold Project in North Queensland, securing $1.1 million in fresh capital and renewing its board to drive exploration in a historically rich but underexplored gold province.

Caprice Resources has reported significant new diamond drilling results at its Island Gold Project, extending high-grade gold mineralisation down plunge by 100 metres and confirming strong continuity along strike and depth at the Vadrians deposit.
