Lightning Minerals has started a 262-sample Phase 3 soil program at its Warby Tungsten Project in North Queensland, with the first 162 samples already at the laboratory. Results expected in October will help determine whether open tungsten anomalies are ready to support maiden drilling.

Aruma Resources is adding 32 contiguous claims to its Tillex copper-silver project in Ontario, expanding the land position to approximately 28.4km². The new ground extends interpreted copper trends and introduces largely untested gold targets, while Phase 2 drilling continues to push the existing high-grade zone southwest.

49 Metals will begin a 3,500-metre follow-up drilling program at its Gold Mountain project in Nevada in October, targeting extensions of the Adit Zone discovery. The campaign is fully funded and follows a maiden program in which all 22 holes intersected gold and/or silver mineralisation.

Riedel Resources has begun a 1,100-sample soil geochemistry program across its 580km² Cosmo Gold Project in Western Australia, targeting unexplored ground and existing gold anomalies. The work is designed to sharpen drill targets before the company’s maiden Cosmo drilling campaign, scheduled for October.

Cosmo Metals has contracted Durock Drilling for up to 2,200 metres of maiden reverse-circulation drilling at the Mona prospect in New South Wales. The campaign will test whether exceptional copper, gold and silver grades from historic mine dumps reflect mineralisation continuing beneath the old workings.
