Tungsten Mining says non-binding debt proposals could fund up to 70% of its Watershed project, equivalent to about A$200 million against estimated pre-production capital of A$274 million. Besra Gold’s FY2026 report puts its Gold Purchase Agreement with major shareholder Quantum Metal Recovery at the centre of the company’s financial risk profile. Funding received under the deal has been recorded as a contract liability tied to potential future gold deliveries, while the report also discloses an AU$140,000 payment to a former director.

Heartland Group Holdings (NZX: HGH, ASX: HGH) more than doubled FY2026 net profit as margins widened, asset quality improved and its proposed TSB merger moved towards a shareholder vote. QEM Limited (ASX:QEM) has suspended non-essential work at its Julia Creek vanadium project after metallurgical results undermined the 2024 Scoping Study. The loss-making explorer is now relying on newly acquired Idaho projects, fresh capital and further exploration to justify its next chapter.

Intelligent Investor Equity Growth Fund returned to a $4.769 million operating profit in the year to 30 June 2026, after recording a $242,000 loss a year earlier. The improvement came with sharply higher distributions, but substantial redemptions reduced net assets and the fund faces an unresolved change of investment-manager ownership.
