Pivotal Metals has used its FY2026 annual report to position Horden Lake as a larger, better-understood Quebec copper project, with a maiden scoping study targeted for September. The company also expanded Belleterre drilling and added the Bambino project, but remains loss-making and dependent on further funding.

WA1 Resources has ended FY26 with a larger, higher-confidence Luni niobium resource, encouraging processing results and A$123.8 million in cash. The project now moves towards a targeted Q4 CY2026 Pre-Feasibility Study, with permitting, funding and commercial viability still ahead.

Caravel Minerals has delayed the Caravel Copper Project’s Definitive Feasibility Study from September to the fourth quarter of 2026. The extra time will fund further metallurgical testing, groundwater modelling, environmental updates and a detailed review of the process plant capital estimate.

Parabellum Resources has established a maiden 4.8 million tonne Mineral Resource Estimate at its Miandetta prospect in central NSW, containing 37,000 tonnes of nickel and 1,920 tonnes of cobalt. The shallow resource is a meaningful exploration milestone, but remains preliminary and relies on several conceptual assumptions.

Magnum Mining has completed more than 10,000 metres of drilling at its Piracanjuba North rare earths project in Brazil and is shifting its main effort to the 32.5km² Plateau Zone. A further 2,000-metre diamond drilling phase will run alongside independent resource, radiological and metallurgical studies, although delayed assay turnaround creates a risk to the company’s November timetable.

FireFly Metals has turned a year of aggressive drilling into a substantially larger, higher-confidence Green Bay resource, backed by an August PEA and fresh funding. The next test is execution: feasibility, permits, construction decisions and the capital required to build a mine.

Antipa Minerals has expanded its Minyari Project resource to 3.6 million ounces of gold equivalent and advanced key pre-feasibility work, including conventional processing and deeper open-pit studies. The progress comes with an auditor-highlighted going-concern uncertainty as the company prepares for further exploration and development spending.

Carnavale Resources is approaching the final stretch of its bankable feasibility study for the 80%-owned Kookynie Gold Project, backed by a 120,000-ounce resource and strong metallurgical recoveries. The project still requires financing, a toll-treatment agreement and final economic modelling before it can move from promising study to mine development.

Terrain Minerals has posted a 54,000-ounce inferred gold resource at Lightning, alongside stronger exploration spending and a reduced FY2026 loss. The next test is whether further drilling, metallurgy and fresh capital can turn the starter resource into something more definitive.

Galileo Mining advanced several PGM, nickel, copper and gold targets at Norseman during FY2026, but a A$4.55 million exploration impairment pushed its annual loss to A$4.67 million. The company ended the year with A$7.48 million in cash and a growing drilling pipeline for Mission Sill and Callisto South.

Sky Metals has used FY2026 to move Tallebung from exploration toward development, combining more than 500 drill holes with strong ore-sorting results and progress into NSW’s environmental approval process. The advance came alongside a A$5.37 million loss and continuing reliance on equity funding.

Mount Ridley Mines says its third Selectro™ leach test lifted scandium recovery to 91.8% while using roughly half the reagent dose of earlier tests. Heavy and light rare earth recoveries also improved, although gallium recovery fell sharply.
