Latest Ore Reserve News

Liberty Metals’ maiden rock chip program at Oko North has returned four samples above 1 g/t gold, including a peak assay of 2.322 g/t. The reconnaissance results support the company’s interpretation that historical alluvial gold may be sourced from hard rock within its Guyana tenure, but drilling is still required to test continuity and scale.

Bellevue Gold will spend A$25-30 million on FY27 exploration after its Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve declined year on year, while a slower Barminco ramp-up is expected to cut September-quarter production by 3,000-4,000 ounces. High-grade Deacon North drilling and deeper targets offer a possible longer-term counterweight.

Catalyst Metals has converted the Cinnamon underground discovery into a maiden 232koz Ore Reserve, supporting a 7.5-year mine plan at the Plutonic Gold Belt. The deposit’s total Resource has grown 370% to 541koz, although part of the production target still relies on Inferred material.

Pantoro Gold says Norseman has produced 19,130 ounces quarter-to-date, keeping FY2027 output within reach of its 90,000 to 105,000-ounce target. A second open pit is now delivering ore while Racetrack drilling continues to build a potential future mine source.

Broken Hill Gold has lifted the Vertigo deposit’s Indicated oxide resource by 160% and increased White Dam’s global resource to 118,496 ounces. The company is now testing whether shallow material can support a heap-leach restart while drilling deeper gold-copper sulphide potential.

Everest Metals moved Mt Dimer into mining, established a 260,780-ounce Revere gold resource and upgraded its Mt Edon rubidium project in FY2026. Yet the company remains loss-making, has impaired its Mt Dimer development assets and warns that future funding and project cash inflows are needed to support its going-concern assessment.

WA1 Resources has ended FY26 with a larger, higher-confidence Luni niobium resource, encouraging processing results and A$123.8 million in cash. The project now moves towards a targeted Q4 CY2026 Pre-Feasibility Study, with permitting, funding and commercial viability still ahead.

Caravel Minerals has delayed the Caravel Copper Project’s Definitive Feasibility Study from September to the fourth quarter of 2026. The extra time will fund further metallurgical testing, groundwater modelling, environmental updates and a detailed review of the process plant capital estimate.

Altitude Minerals has lodged a prospectus for a non-renounceable $1.49 million entitlement offer, but warns the issue is ununderwritten and highly unlikely to be fully subscribed. The company is seeking up to $2.6 million in total funding for Nevada drilling, business development and working capital.

Tesoro Gold has established a maiden 1.28 million-ounce JORC Ore Reserve at Ternera in Chile, entirely within a single open pit. The reserve gives the El Zorro project a 13-plus-year production base, but the next test is funding and permitting a development still at PFS stage.

FireFly Metals has turned a year of aggressive drilling into a substantially larger, higher-confidence Green Bay resource, backed by an August PEA and fresh funding. The next test is execution: feasibility, permits, construction decisions and the capital required to build a mine.

Antipa Minerals has expanded its Minyari Project resource to 3.6 million ounces of gold equivalent and advanced key pre-feasibility work, including conventional processing and deeper open-pit studies. The progress comes with an auditor-highlighted going-concern uncertainty as the company prepares for further exploration and development spending.
