Latest Ore Reserve News

Sinclair Gold has doubled the JORC Mineral Resource at its Mt Henry project to 1.8 million ounces after just 20,426 metres of drilling. The shallow resource remains open, with five rigs operating and assays pending from 25 holes outside the current estimate.

Catalyst Metals has increased the Trident underground Ore Reserve by 32% to 524,000 ounces, supporting a planned mine life of more than 10 years. The result strengthens the company’s ambition to build a 2Moz Reserve base across the Plutonic Belt, although further growth depends on drilling and mine execution.

AuKing Mining has reported wide, high-grade rare earth intersections from maiden RC drilling at its Tundulu project in Malawi, including 91 metres at 1.51% TREO. The results also reveal unusually strong heavy rare earth enrichment and have prompted the company to fast-track a maiden resource estimate targeted before the end of 2026.

Boab Metals has reported high-grade silver-lead intercepts outside the current Sorby Hills FEED Study pit designs, led by 12.62 metres at 204g/t silver equivalent. The results have pushed the company to extend its growth drilling program as it assesses potential resource, reserve and mine-life additions.

Critica has restated its 100%-owned Mt Lindsay project under JORC 2012, defining 19 million tonnes at 1.09% SnEQ and containing about 49,000 tonnes of tin and 28,000 tonnes of tungsten. The estimate gives the Tasmanian project a current resource base, but it remains a mix of Indicated and Inferred material rather than an Ore Reserve.

Alcoa has filed South32’s meeting materials ahead of a shareholder vote on the proposed sale of bauxite, alumina and aluminium interests. The transaction remains subject to shareholder approval, regulatory clearance, financing and other closing conditions.

Rox Resources has reported multiple high-grade underground gold intercepts at Youanmi’s United North area, including 10.30m at 12.46g/t. Ore drives on two levels have also extended about 125m beyond the existing DFS mine plan, with production stoping preparations now underway.

Atlantic Lithium has reported a year of major progress at its Ewoyaa lithium project, including Ghanaian parliamentary approval of its mining lease and a proposed US$210 million takeover by Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt. But the audited accounts also flag material uncertainty over funding if the scheme does not proceed.

Gorilla Gold Mines has lifted its reported Mineral Resource to approximately 2.0Moz of gold after a year of intensive Western Australian drilling. The gain comes with strong exploration momentum, but the company remains pre-revenue and expects to seek further funding.

BMC Minerals has moved the Kudz Ze Kayah project through a key regulatory gateway and reported high-grade drilling beyond the current reserve, but its first full year as an ASX-listed company also exposed the funding challenge ahead. The Canadian developer ended FY2026 with US$50.3 million in cash, no revenue and an auditor-highlighted material uncertainty over going concern.

Vanadium Resources has secured an oversubscribed A$1.0 million placement to advance studies, site work, offtake discussions and project financing for its planned V-Iron Plant in South Africa. The raise gives VR8 fresh development capital, but the project still depends on a scoping study, binding commercial agreements and a much larger funding package.

Anson Resources has secured approval for an estimated US$212 million post-performance tax credit tied to its Green River Lithium Project in Utah. The benefit could materially improve the project’s projected economics, but it will only be realised if the project proceeds, generates tax revenue and meets the scheme’s conditions.
