Victory Metals has secured a 2,006-hectare mining lease for its North Stanmore heavy rare earths project in Western Australia. The grant removes a key tenure hurdle, but technical studies, approvals, offtake agreements and financing still stand between the project and a development decision.

Sinclair Gold has doubled the JORC Mineral Resource at its Mt Henry project to 1.8 million ounces after just 20,426 metres of drilling. The shallow resource remains open, with five rigs operating and assays pending from 25 holes outside the current estimate.

AuKing Mining has reported wide, high-grade rare earth intersections from maiden RC drilling at its Tundulu project in Malawi, including 91 metres at 1.51% TREO. The results also reveal unusually strong heavy rare earth enrichment and have prompted the company to fast-track a maiden resource estimate targeted before the end of 2026.

Vanadium Resources has secured an oversubscribed A$1.0 million placement to advance studies, site work, offtake discussions and project financing for its planned V-Iron Plant in South Africa. The raise gives VR8 fresh development capital, but the project still depends on a scoping study, binding commercial agreements and a much larger funding package.
