Latrobe Magnesium has lifted commissioning progress at its Victorian Phase 1B plant to 50%, with installation now 98% complete. The company continues to target first magnesium metal crowns exceeding 98% purity by the end of 2026, while remaining within its A$6.1 million project budget.

MC Mining advanced its Makhado hard coking coal project through hot commissioning, but ended September with only US$170,000 of cash and facilities before temporarily suspending all operations. The company is relying on shareholder funding to restart and complete the project ramp-up.

Tolu Minerals has strengthened its case for an early 2027 Tolukuma restart, reporting record drilling, a 909,000-ounce resource and A$56.5 million in cash.
