Alchemy Resources finished FY2026 with a sharply wider loss, lower cash and a smaller asset base, even as drilling delivered strong copper-gold results at Yellow Mountain and high-grade iron results at Valley Bore. The explorer has reshaped its portfolio, but its next phase still depends on exploration success and further funding.

Terrain Minerals has posted a 54,000-ounce inferred gold resource at Lightning, alongside stronger exploration spending and a reduced FY2026 loss. The next test is whether further drilling, metallurgy and fresh capital can turn the starter resource into something more definitive.

Sky Metals has used FY2026 to move Tallebung from exploration toward development, combining more than 500 drill holes with strong ore-sorting results and progress into NSW’s environmental approval process. The advance came alongside a A$5.37 million loss and continuing reliance on equity funding.

Altitude Minerals has secured a $1.215 million placement and plans a further $1.487 million rights issue to fund drilling at its Nevada gold-silver projects. The raising offers free options, but shareholders who do not participate in the non-renounceable offer face dilution.

Zinc of Ireland has transformed from a small Irish zinc explorer into a metals technology developer, acquiring Meclex, raising A$5.5 million and advancing ARGO and VOLTA. The opportunity is substantial, but both technologies remain uncommercialised and the VOLTA partnership requires formal renewal.

Investigator Silver has used FY26 to move the Paris Silver Project from feasibility study toward development, backed by A$58.8 million in cash and a maiden ore reserve. The company still faces the harder tests of permitting, financing and construction before its projected silver production can become reality.

Tolu Minerals has increased the Tolukuma gold resource by 81% to 909,000 ounces after four months of full-scale drilling, pushing its reported Papua New Guinea gold inventory above one million ounces. Alvo Minerals has identified a high-conductance off-hole conductor and multiple untested targets at its Touro copper-zinc prospect in Brazil. An environmental licence now allows Phase 2 drilling across roughly 500 metres of previously inaccessible strike.
