QMines is spending $2.388 million on two freehold properties that remove a key access constraint over the Botos deposit near Mt Chalmers. The acquisition clears the way for modern drilling, but the deposit remains an untested conceptual opportunity rather than a defined resource.

Magnum Mining has completed more than 10,000 metres of drilling at its Piracanjuba North rare earths project in Brazil and is shifting its main effort to the 32.5km² Plateau Zone. A further 2,000-metre diamond drilling phase will run alongside independent resource, radiological and metallurgical studies, although delayed assay turnaround creates a risk to the company’s November timetable.

Antipa Minerals has expanded its Minyari Project resource to 3.6 million ounces of gold equivalent and advanced key pre-feasibility work, including conventional processing and deeper open-pit studies.
